All disabled students are advised to register with Disability Services as soon as possible to ensure individual support arrangements are made, particularly for examinations. Please contact us to arrange an appointment.
Disability Services provides a range of confidential support services for disabled students. This includes students with physical and sensory impairments, mental health difficulties and dyslexia.
Disability Services provides a range of services for University staff including guidance and training on disability-related issues and confidential advice for disabled staff.
Our services for disabled students include needs assessments to support applications for the Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA), support with arranging Non-Medical Personal Help, screening and diagnostic assessments for dyslexia and training with assistive technology.
Our Access Centre provides a regional DSA needs assessment service for disabled students throughout Scotland and occasionally elsewhere in the UK.
